5. Are solo travellers welcome?

Of course! If you like travelling alone, or couldn’t find anybody to come with you, then don’t worry. Our advice is to take advantage of the opportunity you have to break your routine and get to know yourself and experience new things!

Bear in mind that you’ll meet many other travellers, solo or not, during the course of your holiday.

In any case, your top priority should be to have a good time and live different experiences.  Money can be recovered, time not.

6. What type of person uses Ananda Holidays?

A big variety, but generally open-minded, experienced travellers with a few stamps in their passports and an easy-going nature.

  • The age range is generally between 25 and 45, with most our customers being 35-45. However, as age is just a number, we are having more and more under 25s and people in their 50s and 60s on our holidays. As each holiday and activity is different, the organiser can tell you more about the kind of traveller they normally cater for.
  • We offer activities in Spanish and English, so most of our travellers are from Latin America and Spain, and on the latter from Europe. Travellers who book our stays come from all over the world, depending on the accommodation.

We always create the best possible atmosphere for our activities, so that our customers leave happy, and then want to come back!

8. HOW TO BOOK
  1. Do I have to book online?

We are an online travel agency and we use a completely automated and secure reservation system, meaning that once a supplier has confirmed their availability we accept authorised and valid credit cards for our online bookings.

Each supplier of activites has detailed their own conditions in the itinerary of the holidays they propose, please read the conditions of the holidays you are interested in.

If you would prefer not to reserve online, you can send an email to info@anandaholidays.com stating the services you would like to reserve and we will reply as soon as possible to finalise your booking.

  1. Can I book on arrival?

ANANDA HOLIDAYS services can only be booked online, and we strongly recommend booking before the start of your course to avoid disappointment, as many of our holidays are frequently sell out.

  1. How far in advance can I book?

Most of our courses can be booked at least six months in advance. In fact, we recommend booking as soon as you can to reserve your place on the course or at the accommodation. Remember that to reserve your place you only have to pay a holding deposit, and you can pay for the rest of the holiday closer to departure.

  1. There are more than 9 people in our group, how can we book?

As a rule ANANDA HOLIDAYS can accept a maximum of 9 people per booking. For bookings of 10 people or more please send an email to info@anandaholidays.com and one of our sales team will help with your reservation.

  1. How long is the holidays? Is there a minimum stay?

The days of each available holiday can be found on each page under the ‘Dates’ heading. If the accommodation requires a 2-night minimum stay for example, this will be stated on the supplier’s file.

  1. What language will the course be in?

The courses are provided in the language indicated on the supplier’s file.

  1. Is there a contact number for me to call at my destination?

Yes, of course! Once your reservation is confirmed you will receive a voucher with all the details of organiser and the school/academy you are holidaying with, including phone numbers, email address and postal address.

Please check this voucher carefully as it will include payment details for the rest of your holidays.

Remember that it is your responsibility to pay the remaining balance on time and in accordance to the instructions in the email.

  1. How do I know my course has been reserved?

You will receive a confirmation email for your ANANDA HOLIDAYS reservation.

  1. What should I do if my reservation doesn’t work?

We’ll be very sorry should this happen, but it’s not likely. If you don’t receive a confirmation email please check your spam folder, and if there is no email there please try to reserve again. If the reservation process fails during payment, we will notify you of any payment anomalies. If you need help, call us or send an email to info@anandaholidays.com and we will do our best to solve your problem.

  1. Do I need to confirm my reservation with the course organiser?

It’s not necessary to confirm your reservation, but you do have to act according to the payment terms of the product you have reserved to ensure that the organiser is paid directly. If you don’t the organiser may cancel the course. Please, check your payment and details carefully.

  1. When will I receive confirmation of my reservation?

You will receive a confirmation email for your ANANDA HOLIDAYS reservation after paying the deposit or the full price, depending on how much time the trip is ahead.

This voucher will be your proof of reservation, as well as a useful reminder of what you need to know about the product(s) you have reserved and how to pay the remaining balance directly to the provider or to the agency, depending on the service.

  1. Do I need photo ID?

Yes, the organiser who provides the service requires valid photo ID, for example a passport, driving license or any other form of ID with a recent photo for everybody on the reservation. This is used to prevent fraud and protect our customers.

9. HOW TO PAY

To reserve your place on your holiday you can pay by credit or debit card through our 100% secure system, it’s as simple as that! If you prefer, you can also pay via PayPal (PayPal will charge a 3% fee, which will be added to the reservation price), or by transfer.

Soon before your journey you will have to pay the remaining balance, depending on the provider you can pay them directly, or you can pay ANANDA HOLIDAYS as you did with the deposit.

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN OR EXTRA COSTS?

Absolutely not! Prices include VAT and each organiser will give you the definite price per person per trip.

10. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Each supplier has its own conditions for changes and cancellations. Please read the supplier´s detailed service sheet on the website to know their conditions.

11. VISA, PASSPORTS AND INSURANCE

ANANDA HOLIDAYS do not offer advice about visas, passports or health requirements.

We always recommend taking out travel insurance to cover any issues that may occur in your destination.

It is the responsibility of each traveller to check with the corresponding embassy or consulate if they need a visa. We urge you to do this at least 2 months before your holiday dates to avoid surprises.
